Demoralizing Cold

When I was in uni, I never got sick for years. I would regularly cold plunge in the Adriatic sea. Take 19 hour bus rides across countries, shivering on border crossings. Nothing would stick, no cold, high temperature or virus.

But now, I'm sick a lot. I've gotten sick twice in the past 2 weeks. Or haven't recovered well from the first time, depending on how you count it. Maybe we keep passing a virus between me and my girlfriend. She's even worse than me.

I'm constantly shivering from cold in a 24 degree room, or get uncontrollable heat flashes at 22 degrees. Every part of my body hurts and my head is constantly buzzing. The only relief I get is from paracetamol. I've even gotten some delirium, being certain I parked the car at a different location even when looking directly at the car.

Which explains why I stare at this blog and have nothing to contribute. Or say. I have trouble focusing on much. But slowly, it's returning. Hopefully we're getting close to the end. Back to ourselves.
